On 04.06.2025, the Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar UPD, successfully apprehended two members of an inter-district four-wheeler theft gang. The police seized 10 stolen vehicles from their possession. This gang was reportedly active in the districts of Khordha, Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar city, and is believed to have been involved in 15 vehicle theft cases.

On 04.06.2025, the Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar UPD, successfully apprehended two members of an inter-district four-wheeler theft gang. On 14.02.2026, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Commissionerate Police at the University Law College campus under Utkal University. A total of 61 units of valuable blood were collected due to the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty and local volunteers in this camp.
