In a landmark achievement, Chandaka PS (UPD Bhubaneswar) Case No. 347/25 (U/S 65(1) BNS & Sec 6 POCSO Act) (TR no 504/25) secured conviction within just 37 days of FIR registration. A powerful example of rapid response and coordinated action in a sensitive POCSO and rape case-reflecting the dedication of Commissionerate Police and the prosecution team. A felicitation programe held at Police Seva Bhawan on 09.10.2025. Kudos to everyone who made this happen. Justice served, swiftly and surely.

ଆଜି ୨୭ ଏପ୍ରିଲ୍ ୨୦୨୬ରେ, କମିଶନରେଟ୍ ପୋଲିସ ୭୮ତମ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପୋଲିସ ଭଲିବଲ୍ ଏବଂ ବାସ୍କେଟବଲ୍ ଚାମ୍ପିଅନସିପ୍ ୨୦୨୬-୨୭ରେ ଉତ୍କର୍ଷ ହାସଲ କରିଥିବା କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନା ସମାରୋହର ଆୟୋଜନ କରିଥିଲା। ଏହି ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟଟି ୨୧.୦୪.୨୦୨୬ ରୁ ୨୫.୦୪.୨୦୨୬ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବାଲେଶ୍ୱରର ରିଜର୍ଭ ପୋଲିସ ଲାଇନରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। କମିଶନରେଟ୍ ପୋଲିସ ଭଲିବଲ୍ ଦଳ-ବି ଏବଂ ବାସ୍କେଟବଲ୍ ଦଳ-ଏ ଉଭୟ ଚାମ୍ପିଅନସିପରେ ତୃତୀୟ ସ୍ଥାନ ଅଧିକାର କରିଥିଲେ।

Last 07. 04.2026, PCR-32 employees showed extraordinary readiness in the case of vanity bag loot that happened near Gohira overbridge. On 07.04.2026, Husband-wife arrested by commissionerate police for smuggling gold chain, Chandrasekharpur PS arrested a practiced criminal, his wife and a stolen gold buyer after successful investigation of chain snatching case in Niladri Bihar area.
On 06.04.2026, The Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, successfully organized a specialized training camp on Call Detail Record (CDR) and Internet Protocol Detail Record (IPDR) analysis. Shri Akshay Kumar Nayak, ACP, shared vital insights through real-world case studies, focusing on modern investigation skills and crime control technology. Additionally, cyber expert Mr. Lingraj Sethi provided hands-on training on IP tracing to tackle online fraud effectively.

On 14.02.2026, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Commissionerate Police at the University Law College campus under Utkal University. A total of 61 units of valuable blood were collected due to the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty and local volunteers in this camp.
