Stringent protocols, including a no-fly zone, enhanced checks, and specialized unit deployments, are in place to ensure a smooth and secure event. Under the supervision of DCP Bhubaneswar, Shri Prateek Singh (IPS), a team of 10 DCPs, 21 Additional DCPs, 86 ACPs, 120 Inspectors, and 329 officers was assigned responsibilities. Additionally, 81 platoons of police and two companies of CRPF were deployed. To counter and prevent any terrorist attack, three units of the Special Tactical Unit (STU) have also been stationed.

On 14.02.2026, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Commissionerate Police at the University Law College campus under Utkal University. A total of 61 units of valuable blood were collected due to the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty and local volunteers in this camp.
